FROM NEWCOMER TO MARKET LEADER

In the early 1980s, Misapor AG developed a new process for the manufacture of foam glass. Misapor, the new construction material, was brought onto the market in 1987. Due to the thoroughly positive response and the rapidly growing demand, already in the first years, it was possible to plan and realise another production facility: since autumn 2002, production occurs not only in Surava, but also in Dagmersellen. – In recent years, Misapor sales have again increased dramatically. This has been aided by the fact that the light foam glass ballast has also made a name for itself outside the borders of Switzerland. Misapor has gone on to become an export product. Agencies were set up in Germany and Austria. Meanwhile, Misapor was developed further, and made ripe for the market.
